Shia Foreman, LSW

Shia is a Licensed Social Worker whose clinical interests include existential and identity exploration, navigating life transitions, stress, relationship issues, meaning-making, anxiety, trauma, and men’s issues. He is especially passionate about helping clients reconnect with their innate capacity for self-realization, drawing inspiration from the “Acorn Theory,” which sees each person as holding the potential to grow into their fullest self.

Shia’s approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. He values creating a therapeutic space grounded in authenticity, trust, and safety, and works holistically to support emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual growth. Clients often describe him as genuine, compassionate, and fully present in the therapy room. Shia believes healing happens in an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel deeply seen and supported, and he strives to help them slow down, reconnect with themselves, and discover both insight and practical strategies for growth.

In his clinical work, Shia draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Theory. He earned his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Montana and his Master of Social Work from Touro University.
